Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?

How far in advance should I schedule my project?
We recommend reaching out about 2 to 3 weeks in advance to secure a spot on the schedule. Availability can fill up quickly, especially during the busy summer season, so booking early is the best way to ensure your project fits your preferred timeframe. For exterior projects, scheduling earlier in the season helps take advantage of the most reliable weather.
Do you work on weekends?

We handle everything: power washing, sanding, caulking, priming, and repairs if needed, so the paint adheres properly.
What type of paint do you use?
We use premium-quality paints from trusted brands like Benjamin Moore and Cloverdale, chosen for their durability, consistent finish, and long-term performance. We also offer low-VOC options for a more eco-conscious choice, and can source specific paint brands or products based on your preferences when requested.
What eco-friendly paints do you offer?
We use low-VOC and zero-VOC paints, which are safer for your family, pets, and the environment.
Are eco-friendly paints as durable as regular paints?
Yes. Today’s low-VOC paints provide excellent coverage and long-lasting results without the harsh chemicals.

How should I prepare my home before painting?
We take care of all the preparation work for you, including moving and protecting furniture and artwork as needed. In some cases, we may ask you to move small personal items, knickknacks, or heirloom pieces so they can be safely stored away. Everything else is fully handled by our team to ensure your home is protected throughout the project.
Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?
No, you do not need to move furniture before we arrive. Our team takes care of moving and protecting larger furniture and artwork, and we fully prep the space with drop cloths and coverings to keep your home safe throughout the project.
What should I do with my pets during the project?
We recommend keeping pets out of freshly painted rooms until the paint is dry. Our low-VOC paints minimize odors, making it safer and more comfortable for them.
What kind of warranty do you offer on your painting work?
Riverside Painting provides written warranties ranging from 2, 3, or up to 10 years, depending on the type of project and materials used. These warranties are clearly outlined so you know exactly what is covered before work begins.
What does your warranty cover?
Our warranty covers workmanship related issues such as peeling, blistering, or failure caused by improper application. It reflects our commitment to proper prep, premium materials, and doing the job right the first time.
Will my warranty be explained in writing?
Yes. Your warranty details are provided in writing as part of your estimate and project agreement. Stephan will review everything with you so you have full clarity and confidence before moving forward.
